Lala.com is a website owned by La La Media, Inc. that provides full-length streaming of songs from a licensed catalog, capability to share it on the web, and sell media copy of the music online.

Lala evolved into one of the most widely used online property stationed in the music industry using the slogan: "Lala - Where music plays".
The company was incorporated in 2005 by La La Media, Inc. with headquarter located at 209 Hamilton Ave, Suite 200, Palo Alto, California, USA.
Among its first executives were co-founders Bill Nguyen, Billy Alvarado, Anselm Baird-Smith, and John Cogan.
But in December 4, 2009, Apple, Inc. made it an official subsidiary company. Unfortunately, they decided to shutdown the service on May 31st 2010.
