Guest Posting is a marketing process in which a blogger creates an article which is to be posted on another blog for marketing purposes.

1. Top Notch Article. Writing the best article is hard. Whenever you try to guest post, you should use your best article. Picking your best article is hard but it would be easier if you have critics offline. Let your friends check your articles and surely if they are your friends they will tell you the worst of your articles.

2. Guest post for exposure. The time you submit your top notch article, there is no backing up. You will then be exposed to the readers of the blog where you guest post. Every visitor will try to read your article. Thus, it is a need to create a signature or links in your guest post whenever possible and if allowed by the owner of the blog.

3. Content rich article. You should also submit content rich articles. Every reader in your niche need contents that they might use for educational or other purposes. Giving your readers good contents will not only help them but it will also help you because every content rich article where done through research and experience. You will gain knowledge as well as give readers new knowledge they might not have known.

4. Humor. Don't make your articles that serious. You need to have articles that breaks the ice. Online surfers go to the internet to have fun and to consume time. You must make them laugh or make them smile through your articles. Having humor and content on your articles can either drive possible subscribers or add marketers through words-of-mouth.

5. Article you write is your hobby. Your guest post must be related to what you really want. Most guest post, if good or best, will end up having a follow-up post. If you where writing an article which you have just read or just for the sake of writing one, you might end up losing more articles to write. I personally recommend to write articles related to your hobby. There is an unlimited source if you really like your articles.

6. Maintain the level of quality. You guest post because you know that there are more readers on that blog than yours. They have more readers because they have high quality articles. When submitting a guest post, you need to match their expertise and excellence or even greater. Read their popular articles or recent articles and try to modify your articles that fits with them.

7. Be Unique. Sometimes uniqueness can be appealing in a good and bad way. You can maintain the level of quality as well as become unique through your writing style. Writing styles differ in every person. There is something that differs you from me and me from you. We are all different in some angle. Make your own style that you are expecting people to like.

8. Risky. Guest posting is very risky. Whenever you try to guest post, there are two things that are at risk. Your reputation and host blog's reputation. There are only two results that will happen to each other's blog. It is either drive traffic towards both site or drive flock's of readers away from the host blog. Yes! It will hurt you and the host blog's reputation.

9. Controversial. Paris Hilton, Vanessa Hudgens as well as some presidentiables became famous due to the controversies other people make or they make. Create a controversial thing on your article without hurting other people's reputation or disobeying laws. Some bloggers became controversial and flocks of users drove towards the site.
