Todd andrlik ranks the top marketing blogs across the internet. The ranking system was part of the Advertising Age website. Most of the bloggers in the internet are trying to penetrate the rankings but it is so hard because it has a very competitive environment. Advertising Age - Ad Age is currently 20,000+ alexa rank and it had created an image through the ranking system but there are still some question about the accuracy of the ranking system and other issues related to the rankings. Bloggers with Big Names are part of the the ranks but it seemed some good marketing gurus are not on the top ranks. But anyway, it will be part of my mission to become part of the Power Ad age 150 to give my blog an image. I won't create a Logo yet because i want to release it along with my own domain.
Currently Seth Godin's Blog is holding the #1 rank. I think it is because Seth Godin has been recognized as a marketing guru even there are failure along his way. Yeah! Failure. But the marketing world is uncontrollable. Whatever you do, when its your business' time to fall then you will surely fall. Just like the big companies that went bankcrupt this year. We know that advertising and marketing is a roller coaster ride and sometimes we fall, sometimes we rise. And we get tired because of zero return of investment. And lots of information are added to the internet library everyday from Search Engine Marketing, Comparative Advertising, Advertising with adwords and 12 secs free video advertising just to gain Extra-Income.
But there are clamors that the ranking system is not updated regularly. I think they should create a more automated rankings and monthly manual rannking checks. In that way, the ranking system will be reliable enough.
How to submit your blog for a review:
1. Visit the Ad Age Power 150.
2. Click on Submit Your Blog button.
3. Enter the information required.
4. Then click Submit.
5. Wait for the response!.
6. After the response is received, you might be ranked.
