The website offers its users the right to privacy by allowing you to control your profile information that will be shown to other grono users. The website homepage has tag clouds and advertisement with the main color as green. Due to the way the network invites members, it has created a very successful community of good and wonderful users. But the english-speaking community have not created any good reviews about the site and maybe because of the language barrier the website offers. But actually, the homepage has selected english language for its content.

In May 2008, the website invited world market giants like MySpace and Facebook during a meeting in Brussels about pursuing an efforts to secure the Internet, especially for minors network users in the Safer Internet program.

The website staff can be contacted about certain issues pertaining to the social-networking sites specially for paying subscribers. Grono.net also started replacing its Java code with Django because it found that Django not only was faster (and more fun) to develop in, it performed better than Java and required less hardware.
