BBC.co.uk, introduced in May 6 2004, is the online portal for the world's most popular news network, British Broadcasting Corporation. They provide up-to-the-minute news, breaking news and feature stories in both video and audio. They also delve into entertainment, business, science, technology and health news.
The website was first launched as bbcnc.co.uk in April 13, 1994 where nc stands for "network club".
Today, The BBC Homepage is a customizable page where users can remove sections of the online service. Users could also add more sections on the page. There are 16 sections that could be added which includes Blogs, Business and Money, Children, Entertainment, Travel, Food, History, Music, More Top Stories, Radio, Science and Nature, Sport, TV Channels, Teens, Weather, Weird & Wonderful and World Service. Users can also set primary color that will be used on the page.
BBC Blog Network provides articles from bloggers that talk about the topics from BBC.
