Tm.com.net.my is the online portal for Telekom Malaysia products and services such as Business Broadband, Streamyx (Malaysia's Premier Broadband Service) and Narrowband.

TM Online is a Telekom Malaysia service that allows TM customers to manage their account and pay bills online.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) Berhad acquired several start-up competitor companies such as TMNet. TM has various subsidiaries including VADS, Multimedia University, Multimedia College, TMR&D and Telekom Applied Business. Internationally, they have presence in Celcom (Malaysia), Dialog Telekom (Sri Lanka), Aktel (Bangladesh), Excelcomindo (Indonesia), MobileOne (Singapore), Hello (Cambodia), MTCE (Iran), Spice Telecom (India) and Multinet Pakistan Ltd (Pakistan).

Telekom Malaysia helped build the Institute of Telecommunication and Information Technology in 1994. After being recognized as the first private university in Malaysia, the name was later changed to the University of Telekom. Finally, it changed its name to Telekom Multimedia University which became a member of the LAOTSE, an international network of leading university in Asia and Europe.

Telekom Malaysia have 7 earth sattelites and "teleports" namely Kuantan Satellite Earth Station, Cyberjaya Satellite Earth Station, Wangsa Maju Teleport, Melaka Teleport, Labuan Teleport, Sabah Teleport and Sarawak Teleport according to wikipedia.org.

Telekom Malaysia created several landmarks which includes the famous Hijjas Kasturi designed Menara Telekom. The other landmarks are Menara Kuala Lumpur and Menara Alor Star.

According to wikipedia, Telekom Malaysia changed its global brand, in April 2005, from Telekom Malaysia to TM.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) was awarded with the prestigious 2008 STAR-BIZ ICRM Corporate Responsibility Award in the workplace category.

In February 2007, The Star Online reported that Telekom Malaysia is switching to wireless in some areas of coverage to fight cable theft.

In April 2007, Telekom Malaysia lead the group of 17 Asian Phone companies to build an underwater fiber-optic cable connecting southeast asia and the United States. The project was worth $500 million and awarded to Alcatel Submarine Network and Japan's NEC.

In October 2007, A multi-billion project was awarded to Telekom Malaysia. The project was to provide homes in Malaysia with High Speed Broadband.

Telekom Malaysia have acquired Tekad Mercu Berhad and Rebung Utama Sdn Bhd and dissolved its subsidiaries, Telesafe, Mobitel and Telekom Payphone in October and December 2007 respectively.

In March 2008, the company acquired TM ESOS Management.

In July 2008, Greenplum announced that Telekom Malaysia and other companies are using Greenplum Database to power a range of applications, from security compliance and customer acquisition to call detail record analysis. [from The Telecom Data Explosion have fueled the growth of Greenplum].

Telekom Malaysia's high speed broadband (HSBB) project is slated to be launched at the end of this year. The company will be initially spending RM2.2 billion for the first phase of the project which is expected to last for 3 years.
