The 36th Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2009 was held on February 26-28, 2009 in Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington DC located at 2500 Calvert Street, NW, Washington, DC 20008.

It is one of the largest 3-day gathering of thousands of students, activists, lawmakers, and celebrities in the conservative movement such as Ron Paul, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and John Bolton.

The CPAC 2009 was present online through social media networks and video streaming sites such as Facebook, Ustream.tv, Youtube, AOL's Political Machine, The Minority Report and Twitter.

It is also available in different TV Networks such as the Fox News and CNN.

Students are actively participating in the conference through events such as Thomas Phillips Student Luncheon, an activism training seminar, and the Club 100 Reception, The Leadership Institute Seminars and Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute's Women of the Year Award Luncheon.

Other awaited events includes speeches, Blogger of the Yeard Award (in 2009 won by Steve Gilbert of Sweetness-Light.com) and the CPAC Straw Presidential Poll (in 2009 won by Former MA Gov. Mitt Romney).
