Truveo Video Search is a wholly owned subsidiary of AOL, LLC founded in 2004 by Timothy Tuttle and Adam Beguelin. It is a comprehensive video search engine that offers high-quality search results containing videos from trusted and popular websites across the internet.

In 2006, Truveo launched its Open Video Search API providing a programmatic interface to access Truveo index database.

In September 2008, Truveo launched Mobile (WAP) Video Search Product.

According to Alexa, Truveo is currently the top 500 most visited global websites on the internet generating more than 75 million visitors monthly and giving search results from more than 300 million indexed videos.
